We are pleased to present akimmonetblog.com, an online photo-based publication by Akim Monet.

This initiative stems from the recurring comments from clients and friends about how much they enjoy visiting exhibitions with Akim, and attending the impromptu presentations he gives in his exhibition space and elsewhere.

The periodical is not only a source of news about our activities in and out of our gallery, but also a destination site for high-quality, curated content about visited exhibitions in other venues, commercial and institutional, and for news affecting the art world.

Albeit primarily photographic, we strive to supplement the images in our blog with relevant information from a variety of sources in the form of links to the press, museum, and gallery websites, but also auction houses and video platforms.

Consistent with our own ethos, akimmonetblog.com is not confined to any period or style. Our approach is contemporary, but the content with which we engage, although mostly drawn from modern art, can be from any epoch.

Our yardstick is quality and whereas the images are usually iPhone pictures with a very “snapshot” feel, utmost care is given to the relevance of the subject matter we present.
